Following the release of her first Christmas album ReJoyce: The Christmas Album (2004), which was certified gold, Simpson made her film debut as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard (2005). The film's soundtrack also featured a cover of "These Boots Are Made for walking". 2006 saw the release of her fifth studio album A Public Affair. She also appeared in the romantic comedy film The Employee of the Month. Simpson made her debut in country music with the release of Do You Know (2008) which was her sixth studio album. Simpson created The Jessica Simpson Collection in 2005. It was a clothing-focused line featuring 34 categories of merchandise. The brand is the most successful ever licensed by a celebrity and has earned more than $1 billion in profits to the present. Simpson was also on the reality television series The Price of Beauty in 2010 and judged fashion designs during two seasons of Fashion Star between 2012 and 2013. Simpson is married to Eric Johnson, with whom she has three children.
