McKayla Rose Maroney retired from the sport of artistic gymnastics to become a singer. She participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics as part of the American Women's Gymnastics team, often referred to by the name of Fierce Five. At the Olympics she won the silver medal and a team gold. Her early life. McKayla Rose Maroney is the daughter of Erin Maroney and Mike Maroney. (died 2019.) McKayla's Irish Catholic background is her family heritage. They have their daughter Aria Skye Kagan, born on the 29th of December, 2019. she briefly lived alone in Topeka and was enthralled by the reminders of her exile from church and family, eventually deciding to relocate to Connecticut. The Kagans' parents, sisters and brother also remained members of the church and removed all connections to her.
