Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised in a mixed ethnic family. Her mother is English and her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. While at school she appeared in a variety of stage productions including King Henry V's princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. But in May of 2013, it was announced that announcement was made that she would quit the show due to her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through 2016. From June to July 2012, Madekwe married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance since that time. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and more.
